Debian's Etch, the current stable distro, is about to be superseded by Lenny, the current testing version—now frozen in RC mode. The new testing fork will be Squeeze, the squeeze toy alien. Thus my celebratory avatar.

I will admit it is a bit jarring to my sensibilities. In keeping with my own exalted status, I'm sure I'll bring back the guru soon enough.
