Hello ,
As a newbie with CSS I'm afraid I'm falling in the same hole as many of the starters.
After searching and trying several hours I'm posting my simple question to go on.
It's just very basic, but direct on the basic I'm going wrong
Example, I have 3 divs, header, main and footer
In the main div will come my text of course, but if gets some more text, the footer stays on his place.
Trying with positioning etc etc did not help a lot, at the end the footer does not come where it has to be, simple below of the main div
What I'm doing wrong ?
Thanks a lot
Valeria

Hi, valeria_, and welcome to the forums.
Read the sticky posts at the top of each forum. There are instructions on how to ask your question (what info we need) and how to post your code.
With no more than what we have, we can only guess. My guess is you are using absolute positioning (AP). That is a common issue with newbies. AP has lots of gotchas if you don't thoroughly understand how it works.
We can't help until we know more. Read the stickies, and bring us what we need.
