I've just finished upgrading www.appcreator.com the main change is the menu on the left is now fixed in position, without the use of frames Smile
Previously the menu scrolled with the rest of the page.
The CSS for this fixed effect is from http://devnull.tagsoup.com/fixed/.

Mainly I'd like to have any Mac users check out the site as I don't have a mac for testing. Browsers such as Safari and ie for mac and ie5.5 for windows would be good to here from.
I'm no longer concerned with Netscape 4 or an version of ie < 5. The target audience of the site is PHP web developers who would most likely only use older browsers for testing.

The main style sheets are:
http://www.appcreator.com/code/col3layout.css
http://www.appcreator.com/code/mainstyles.css

Thanks.

AppCreator - Mac

ok, Mac tester will be me at first.. lol

Tested with: Camino 0.7, IE 5.2, Mozilla 1.3, Safari 1.0b:

First, the display look good, left menu is fix, and the entire content flows greatly...

my opinion on the Right panel... grey bg look strange... maybe making it highlight instead, maybe just a border.... because the grey color is mostly present on your page, and it looks hard to read. and it hides the big logo in the background when not using a large display.

nexialism source of all knowledges

AppCreator - Mac

Thanks Nexia,
I'm glad it works on your mac browsers.
Yes there may be too much grey on the site.
Thanks for you opinion.
