IE Space after background image in LI

hi,
i was creating a simple table less layout using CSS and getting a problem in IE.
please check the link http://www.unirazz.com/VCC.html
in FF its ok, but in IE after the horizontal image line (which is inside the Li background) there is some space. how can i correct this

Of course I tested in IE 7, you did not refer to a non-standard version. However, your page does not validate. So clear that first before you worry about how it looks in any browser. Read the forum's how to.
