Need some javascript help urgently - onClick not firing
Posted: Mon, 2008-05-12 17:14
This site navigation was working fine when posted in my workroom - now it's posted to its own domain and the nav's not working
(I changed nothing - same server, different folder).
This is where it was first posted: http://www.horseink.com/workroom/eehh308/index.html
Now posted at http://www.[name][vt].com (no "of" in URL) - this would be the most recent versions.
The problem is the second and third "+" links (the first one works ok, for some unknown reason). When the link is clicked, the sub-page names show for a minute and then disappear. Seems like something's firing and then getting discouraged, somehow. I just added in pages for those super-links (links worked fine in first location without pages there, but not here...)
Hellllp!! I'm a javascript eedjit

I'm unable to replicate your issue, at least not in Firefox on Debian.
Is this a single browser issue, or all?
cheers,

The two new pages added in helped sort things out, plus me waking up, sitting down calmly, and looking at the code
I think it's working acceptably now.
If you have any ideas as to why this worked fine with null links for the 2nd and 3rd top-links, instead of actual pages, when I first set it up, and then didn't work fine at all when the site files were moved to a different folder as-is, I'd be very interested in knowing (so I can run around the room screaming again - I'm getting to like that mode). No, actually - just to learn something.
Thanks for looking, Gary! You guys must go nuts with the frantic tone of these requests
You're a huge help and very patient. csscreator is an awesome environment!
Cheers,
