i almost finished this design for the band the Sainte Catherines to go along with the release of their
new dvd.

Looks good to me! The only thing I would get rid of is the outline around the navigation. When you click one of those links in Firefox, it creates an outline that goes off the page (because you used a negative text-indent).

Looks pretty good. A few comments though:

  • I find the pink and blue text a bit hard to read against the bg-color particularly at smaller sizes. The rollover colour's not a whole lot better either.
  • You should really combine both the on & off states of your main nav images into one image and reposition them with bg-position on :hover so you don't get that slight lag while the hover image loads when you first hover over a link.
  • You get a horizontal scrollbar at 1024 x 780 and the sides of your body bg-images get cut off slightly.

i fixed the scrollbar, i was just playing around with some background ideas i have for the body and was trying out some different content size, and while doing so forgot to reset the size..

i set it back to what it should be

as for the sprites, i am going to work on those.
