i can't see my new favicon that I added to a site. Here's the story, i put a favicon on and then bookmarked the site. I then changed the favicon and it wouldn't show in firefox on my machine. I have cleared the cache and even the bookmarks backup folder in the documents and settings/applications. But still the original favicon shows in the address bar and links bar.

Please help me, if there is any help for me!

Thanks

I've noticed that Firefox has a pretty aggressive cache. Try clearing your cache, and then see what happens.

please don't repeat good advice already given. I'm reasonably sure you are just trying to get up to 10 posts so you can get your self-promoting signature line and some link-backs.

Original thoughts and solutions are, of course, welcome.

WOW

ah, guys, the first thing I tried was clearing the cache, please see the second line of my original post. I was hoping there were additional steps I could take that weren't commonly known.

I know about ctrl+refresh as well.

Any other ideas, please shoot them out.
