Chris Wilson, lead developer of Internet Explorer, states on his blog that IE6 and IE7 can't match the standards support of Firefox or Opera. Link.

IE7 is 10 years behind the standards or wrong.
But it works in IE!

As I've said before, on numerous occasions; I would have no problem with IE if they constantly worked on the browser, and released cumulative updates, combined with a FORCED upgrade like Firefox has. This way, EVERYONE will be using the latest version.
