I must be blind because I never saw this part of the css forum before :?
Okay, this afternoon I published the new Bushwhacker Climbing Club site. Please advise.
When I validate it passes, but I get an error,
Character Encoding mismatch! I gotta figure that out still.

Thanks in advance,

I see no problem with the character set. It is utf-8, so be sure that if your editor is actually using utf-8, it doesn't prepend the document with a BOM (Byte Order Mark). It's unnecessary for utf-8 and it throws IE into quirks mode.
Everything looks good, except for the nav column. I really hate for links to change size when hovered. It causes the column to twitch. Stick with a color change or adding an underscore.
You might add a photo or two to each page showing members doing the things members do. It's a club site, make it personal.

Gary, thanks much. Yup, I ripped the size change on hover. Better this way I agree.
And yeah, the site needs photos - comin' up!
Any other input?

Nice and tight.

I think separating the content background color from the body background color might make it stand out a little more.

nice... but i agree you should add more pic

my only suggestion would for it to be seperated from the background. Either a border or a different background color on your content.
looks good other then that.
